A little about me...

I'm a Pacific Northwest girl who was born and raised in Oregon. You can frequently find me hiking in the mountains, tending to my ever-growing collection of houseplants, chasing sunsets, and enjoying a glass of wine with my dog, Charlie, by my side. I love traveling to new places where I can meet new people and build genuine connections.

Photography has been my creative outlet from the time I received my first film camera at the age of seven. In high school, I studied photography for all four years. I was known for always having a camera on me, and earned numerous regional and national awards for my photography. In college I earned degrees in my two passions: biology and photography. I have been so incredibly fortunate to have been able to follow my love for both fields as a professional photographer and a former biologist.

Before I began photographing weddings and couples in 2017, I worked in the wedding industry, and have coordinated and run countless weddings (and cut more wedding cakes than you would believe). I've learned to expect the unexpected, and I'm always ready to take on anything that's thrown my way with enthusiasm and a smile. Plus I can shake up a mean cocktail.

My style...

My style is modern, but timeless. I love to create elegant, authentic images that tell your story and allow you and your loved ones to re-live your most meaningful moments. I love using vibrant, true-to-life colors because it makes the photographs feel vivid and alive. For me, the story is all in the details - the little looks, the sly smile, the details of your jewelry, the way the light hits your hair juuuuust right.

The most important thing to me is making you look and feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. I absolutely love capturing candid moments and will spend our time together trying to make you forget you're in front of a camera so you and your loved ones can exist in those special moments together. I know not everyone feels comfortable in front of a camera, so like to give some gentle direction when doing posed portraits and group shots. I use fun (often ridiculous) prompts to help guide you into natural poses where you not only look stunning, but your personality shines. I can guarantee there will be lots of laughter during our time together!
