Corinne told me she wanted "golden, romantic, and breezy" engagement photos. Bonus points if the location included beautiful grassy fields. When I suggested a few locations, Corinne and Nathan decided that they wanted to go big or go home since they were only planning on getting engaged once, and chose the Columbia River Gorge. Little did we know, there was a high wind advisory in effect on the day of the shoot with sustained 40 mph winds and gusts up to 70 mph. They still felt confident enough to go ahead with the shoot as planned, and we found a small area that was (mostly) sheltered from the strongest wind. This incredible gold evening light came blazing through the gorge just before sunset and they ended up with the golden, romantic, and (very) breezy photos they were looking for.
