A romance for the ages that, like so many other modern love stories, began with Tinder. Katie wanted to honor her Finnish heritage with a Midsummer celebration on the summer solstice with Scandinavian details and Finnish traditions woven throughout their wedding. Surrounded by a small group of their family and closest friends, they said their vows surrounded by wildflowers along the Deschutes River in Katie's parent's backyard. True to Katie's Finnish heritage, vodka shots and moments of spontaneously breaking out into traditional Finnish songs were abundant, as was the love shared by all.
